Privacy
HaulCover does not collect personal information through its tools or editorial pages, and does not sell or share user data with third parties.
How the tools handle your entries
The four browser tools—coverage checklist builder, quote prep checklist, COI request email generator, and renewal timeline calculator—generate their output entirely within your browser. Entries you type into the form fields are processed locally in JavaScript and are not transmitted to HaulCover servers. No entries are stored in browser storage (localStorage or sessionStorage), session cookies, or any backend database. When you close or reload the page, entries are gone.
These tools are designed to help you organize information before an agent conversation. They are not connected to any insurance quoting system, agency platform, or data broker.
No registration or accounts
HaulCover does not require registration, login, or the creation of an account to access any page or tool. No name, email address, or contact information is requested or stored by the site in the course of normal use.
What the hosting infrastructure may log
Like most static websites, HaulCover is served through hosting infrastructure that may record standard server logs: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are generated at the infrastructure level and are not used by HaulCover for marketing, profiling, or sale to third parties. Hosting infrastructure terms apply to this layer of logging.
No advertising or tracking pixels
HaulCover does not run advertising networks, affiliate tracking scripts, third-party retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking tools on its pages. No data collected through site visits is sold or shared with advertisers.
Information to avoid entering
Even though tool entries stay in your browser, avoid entering sensitive information into any public website form as a general practice. This includes: driver license numbers, Social Security numbers, claim file details, payment information, policy numbers, full VIN schedules tied to named owners, or medical records. Use the tools to organize what you plan to discuss—not to record the sensitive details themselves.
External links
HaulCover links to official regulatory and agency resources including FMCSA, eCFR, NAIC, and state agency pages. These external sites operate under their own privacy policies. Review any destination site's privacy practices before submitting personal information there.
